Slight disappointment - the patent was rejected

The patent application regarding WebVeta was rejected in the patent office based in U.K. They considered it like a algorithm. In a certain way yes and in a certain way no.

The patent was about a methodology for near real-time indexing.

The standard way is background processes to crawl websites or sitemaps or rss periodically. IndexNow protocol allows submitting the URL of the website. IndexNow requires some SDK / development.

For WebVeta I wanted a way for detecting changes, even for static websites. If I can do something on a static website using normal technologies such as HTML, Javascript, CSS then the same thing can be done for any dynamic website and developers of dynamic website do NOT have to do any special development for real-time indexing.

For WebVeta search, people would include Javascript anyway. I thought what if I do a content hash after the page loads (after removing some non-necessary elements such as head etc...) and send a background request to the web server. Now the server verifies the hash and if different or new, does indexing.

The problem with the above approach is possibility of DDOS i.e random people would generate requests from various IP's and send various hashes. Because WebVeta has built-in domain request crawl rate, the actual websites would not be bombarded with requests.

For resolving this problem, a unique key can be provided for the owner of the website. Now the author makes updates and needs to view the page by providing special key in the URL. Slightly frustrating.

If the pages are generated programmatically, SDK approach would suffice with some simple HTTP request.

This is not a great concept, but yes, I suppose this can be considered as just an algorithm and definitely yes useful for WebVeta.

Anyway, am I encouraging my competition by writing in a public blog post? Probably, but remember healthy competition would always be a win-win situation. Haters, psychos, negative mindset hackers, spies, stalkers, shadows etc... with communist/socialist/extremist agendas are literal gravity.

2 years in review

June 22nd 2023 marks the 2nd anniversary since registration of ALight Technology And Services Limited.

Disappointments:

1) No revenue yet! In 2 years, my startup did NOT generate any revenue.

2) No Clients yet! The capital ingested into the startup have been my very own personal money from my very own USA based Bank of America and India based ICICI. The money has been transferred into my own Wise based Business bank account.

3) WebVeta, pre-release KickStarter and IndieGoGo campaigns did not generate any traction.

4) Several VCs turned down pre-seed funding for WebVeta.

Small achievements:

1) Got approved into Microsoft for Founders, but my LinkedIn is blocked and I cannot access my Microsoft for Founders account because Microsoft for Founders account is associated with LinkedIn - Opened a support request with Microsoft.

2) Filed for a patent in United Kingdom - Pending

3) Got AWS Certified Architect Associate certification

4) Launched closed beta of WebVeta

5) Got approved into Digital Outcomes 6, but didn't get projects yet!

Roadmap for 1 year:

1) WebVeta MVP open beta - most likely on July 4th

2) AWS Certified Developer Associate - July 15th

3) WebVeta MVP Production Launch - most likely on August 11th

4) WebVeta gets incremental additional features i.e the list of features mentioned in the KickStarter and IndieGoGo campaigns would be completed by November as mentioned in the campaigns, although the campaigns didn't raise money.

Roadmap for longer-term:

1) Based upon traction, WebVeta becomes a bigger suite of inter-related products in smaller niches.

2) AWS Architect Professional, AWS Security

3) Azure Developer, Azure Architect Professional, Azure Security Professional

Gratitude:

1) I thank my family, it's hard going through lot of pressure by mafia extortionists / hackers - who tried to steal my earnings, my assets and my inheritance by hacking, stalking, shadowing and propaganda.

2) I thank some of my friends, some others might have been pressured by mafia and some have backstabbed me. Yet, most of them are innocent, very few are culprits and guilty.

3) I thank the Government of the United Kingdom

Frustrations & Roadblocks:

1) The mafia psychopaths aka order/odour/hukam the organized crime syndicate with invisible microdrone equipment capable of viewing, recording, screenshotting, whispering and even mind reading. That's how they were able to hack several accounts, impersonate, send false emails, OTP thefts, accounts based baseless propaganda, stalking, shadowing etc...

For example, if they hack and login into someone's bank accounts and show bank balances, shadow / stalk based on physical address and show some purchases that means nothing. It means they are hackers / shadows / stalkers. Me, my family are going through some frustration caused by the Mafia + MAA + R&AW.

Next release of WebVeta on July 4th

The next version of WebVeta would be released on July 4th. This release is going to be an Open Beta i.e anyone can sign-up and start using. During this release, all the features would be available for everyone but with few restrictions. The assumption is the Open Beta users either have small to medium websites and would be future customers in the Free tier or larger websites are doing a trial run. If any larger websites are doing a trial run and would like to remove some restrictions for a full-pledged trail run, let me know by contacting me on my Facebook or WhatsApp or email.

In the last demo, I have shown, the search results from website and I said a hint of what's next.. In the July 4th release, the hint is being implemented. Here is the video:

After the July 4th release, for about a month, there won't be any enhancements from features perspective, but most of the work would be about stability, availability, scalability, replication etc...
