WebVeta's Latest Release: planned ProductHunt launch , new servers, improved features 2025-11-16

Introduction

In the ever-evolving landscape of digital search solutions, staying ahead means not only innovating but also ensuring robust security measures are in place. On November 15, 2025, WebVeta had a significant update due to an unfortunate hacking incident that compromised its previous servers by certain state sponsored threat actors. This release marks a pivotal moment for WebVeta as it strengthens its infrastructure and introduces enhancements to its premium offerings.

Background

WebVeta has been recognized as the "Most Innovative AI-Based Search Engine 2024 - India", "Most Innovative AI-Based Search Engine 2025 - India" by Corporate Vision Magazine, U.K., reflecting its commitment to delivering cutting-edge search solutions. As part of Microsoft for Startup Founders, WebVeta continues to push boundaries in integrating AI with search technologies.

Security Enhancements

The recent hacking incident served as a catalyst for WebVeta to overhaul its server infrastructure. During this period some hackers seemed to have manipulated certain tier level logic and some cached responses. Particular server was stopped and isolated from rest of the servers and new servers were built from scratch. Very hard to beat session, ssh hijackers that cracks encryption in under 50 seconds and does targeted attacks (some state sponsored hackers, normal hacker groups don’t have that much computing).

Feature Updates in the $1000/Year Tier

Some minimal yet impactful code changes have been implemented, particularly in the RAG Premium 1 tier priced at $1000 per year. These updates focus on refining the accuracy of search results, optimizing the integration of LLM-based processing, showing the AI generated content. Users can expect a more seamless experience with improved natural language understanding capabilities, but at the cost of slight delay because of lot of internal processing.
