The first quarter of 2025 has
been a period of developments for WebVeta.
1. Reintroduction of SimplePass:
- On March 25th,
2025, SimplePass, an open-source password manager offered as a Progressive Web
App (PWA), was relaunched after decommissioning in October 2023. SimplePass respects
privacy by storing data locally without any data sent to server and does not
even request emails.
2. New Features in WebVeta:
- The introduction
of a Hosted Link Feature on March 1st, 2025, showcases WebVeta's commitment to accessibility
and ease of use. This feature allows organizations to try WebVeta’s search
functionalities without direct website integration, broadening its appeal and
potential user engagement.
3. Recognition and Collaborations:
- Being accepted
into the Perplexity Business Fellowship & Gen AI Summit 2025 reflects the
growing recognition of WebVeta. This offers networking opportunities but also
positions WebVeta at the forefront of generative AI discussions. Thank you
Perplexity!
4. Focus on Responsible AI:
- A significant
focus has been placed on responsible AI practices, as demonstrated by WebVeta’s
commitment to sustainability and ethical operations announced on January 21st,
2025. This includes reducing carbon footprints, ensuring data privacy, bias
mitigation —factors that are increasingly important to modern consumers.
5. Strategic Support:
- Continued support
from Microsoft for Startup Founders has been pivotal in sustaining WebVeta’s
development, allowing me to focus on enhancing features without resource
constraints. Although due to certain undisclosed reasons, I am going to lessen
my reliance on Microsoft.
7. Controversies:
- For whatever
reason, Wadhwani has not allowed me into a meeting. I know there are a group
organized cyber criminals i.e cyber mafia who are doing identity distortion /
identity theft, Wadhwani seems to have been influenced by them. Instead I am
walking out of the uncomfortable situation.
Professionals know the value of identity and career, cyber
mafia sells / exchanges / does identity
theft and creates propaganda of ‘buying’ / ‘exchanging’. ‘selling’/’buying’/’exchanging’
of identities are illegal anyway i.e cyber mafia! And how were they able to do
identity theft? Spying, privacy invasion, hacking, stalking, shadowing,
blackmailing, enacting etc…
Plans for Q2:
There
are some nicer plans happening in Q2! One of the tier gets removed, two new
tiers gets added. Higher accuracy in every paid tier. And many more plans.
I thank Microsoft, Microsoft for Startup Founders, Corporate Vision Magazine U.K, NASSCOM 10000 virtual incubation.
