WebVeta version 0.2 OpenBeta released!

The deployment of WebVeta version 0.2 has been completed. The deployment has been a bit rocky. Few mini features were rolled back, but would be added soon. I might not wait 4 - 5 weeks going forward between releases. I am considering at least 1 - 3 released every 15 days, at least in the beta mode.

WebVeta v0.2 going to be released on July 4th

WebVeta - Search as a service is going to have a update on July 4th.

What's new in version 0.2?

- Clients - Digital agencies can manage and maintain multiple clients.

- Your own blogs hosted on blogger or wordpress or sub-domains of medium can be added and verified.

- Domain Groups i.e show results from groups of your own websites on any of your websites

- Open beta.

- Small improvements in the search results display.

Known Issues:

- Domain groups feature for domains where sub-domains are being indexed is a bit buggy, unstable.

- Web crawler might not respect all the rules of robots.txt / HTTP Headers / Meta Tags / Rel attribute of anchor tags.

- Once domains are added, no way of modifying any of the attributes - coming soon.

- Crawler might sometimes, request the same URL(s) multiple times.

- Due to possibility of duplicates, crawler does not crawl pages with URL parameters.

Delay in production release of WebVeta due to concerns about Human Rights Violation in India

WebVeta production release going to be delayed due to concerns about Human Rights Violation in India!

WebVeta OpenBeta would be released as planned on July 4th in respect of the independence day of United States of America! In a previous anouncement I have mentioned production release on August 15th in respect of India's Independence Day, but I might delay the release due to concerns about Human Rights Violation in India!

I personally have been the victim of Human Rights Violation for over the past 5 years! Filed several police complaints, filed few RTI's and even Human Rights Violation cases. The police had no response. The RTI's were manipulated or denied (I have filed for a re-appeal).

Slight disappointment - the patent was rejected

The patent application regarding WebVeta was rejected in the patent office based in U.K. They considered it like a algorithm. In a certain way yes and in a certain way no.

The patent was about a methodology for near real-time indexing.

The standard way is background processes to crawl websites or sitemaps or rss periodically. IndexNow protocol allows submitting the URL of the website. IndexNow requires some SDK / development.

For WebVeta I wanted a way for detecting changes, even for static websites. If I can do something on a static website using normal technologies such as HTML, Javascript, CSS then the same thing can be done for any dynamic website and developers of dynamic website do NOT have to do any special development for real-time indexing.

For WebVeta search, people would include Javascript anyway. I thought what if I do a content hash after the page loads (after removing some non-necessary elements such as head etc...) and send a background request to the web server. Now the server verifies the hash and if different or new, does indexing.

The problem with the above approach is possibility of DDOS i.e random people would generate requests from various IP's and send various hashes. Because WebVeta has built-in domain request crawl rate, the actual websites would not be bombarded with requests.

For resolving this problem, a unique key can be provided for the owner of the website. Now the author makes updates and needs to view the page by providing special key in the URL. Slightly frustrating.

If the pages are generated programmatically, SDK approach would suffice with some simple HTTP request.

This is not a great concept, but yes, I suppose this can be considered as just an algorithm and definitely yes useful for WebVeta.

Anyway, am I encouraging my competition by writing in a public blog post? Probably, but remember healthy competition would always be a win-win situation. Haters, psychos, negative mindset hackers, spies, stalkers, shadows etc... with communist/socialist/extremist agendas are literal gravity.

Next release of WebVeta on July 4th

The next version of WebVeta would be released on July 4th. This release is going to be an Open Beta i.e anyone can sign-up and start using. During this release, all the features would be available for everyone but with few restrictions. The assumption is the Open Beta users either have small to medium websites and would be future customers in the Free tier or larger websites are doing a trial run. Next update for WebVeta in about 3 - 4 weeks

I have mentioned in a previous blog post, yesterday's release has been a closed beta. In 3 - 4 weeks, another closed-beta update would be released. The planned set of features, would show why WebVeta might be useful for most websites. Considering the long list of planned features, I would this an incremental update, but certainly shows the usefulness of WebVeta.

I would be doing a demo of the current progress sometime in the next few hours. But, it's going to be pretty much like the prototype / concept video, except on live website and using live data.

Hoping to gain some traction through some grants / partnerships for WebVeta & the reasons for grants / partnerships!

Few days / weeks ago, I wrote about the concept for the product WebVeta. Now, I have planned the larger scope of the product. There is some added value and there is a much much bigger plan. In other words, WebVeta might end up being a group of products serving anyone with websites, consumers, businesses and enterprises. The large roadmap might take 3 - 5 years.

However, I want to bootstrap the rest of the products from the simple concept I have wrote about and demoed using dummy data.

I am hoping to get some grants / funding from larger organizations. Not that, I need money for living expenses but if there is IP theft from R&AWMaafia members - female identity thief Kanti's, Thota's, Veera, Zinnabathuni, Bhattaru, Bojja Srinivas, Mukesh Golla, Erra, Diwakar, Karan, Kamalakar, Karunkar, Kareem, Sowmya, Neha and whoever are the so-called Pakistani's who are apparently living in Visakhapatnam. If intellectual property theft happens from the above R&AWMAAfia members, tie-ups / partnerships with deeper pockets would help in suing and getting justice done.

I know very risky proposition, but I think that's the right way i.e I need I.T industry's help in fighting the construction R&AWMAAfia.

WebSearch minimal demo might be done on or before the March 16th

I came across this interesting business networking event in Gurgaon, Haryana, India. I have never been to the state of Haryana nor Gurgaon. I am mostly South Indian guy, I know North Indian traditions and culture are slightly different from South India. I am definitely interested in going to Gurgaon for TiEcon Delhi-NCR 2023. Large I.T companies like Amazon's AWS, Google, Microsoft, Accenture are attending the event. I think it would be a wonderful networking opportunity. I am NOT doing any demos, but I am planning to get a very very minimal viable product of WebSearch ready by the 17th of March. To garner some interest at the event or find some partners etc...

Because of the R&AW harassment (harassment because one of the rogue R&AW agents did identity theft and they wanted to make some claims on GreenCard immigration scam or TEA investment visa scam), I am unable to make much progress because of the greedy, pathetic, cyber terrorists.

I am hoping to either get some business or find partnerships or find job opportunities because the Green Card scammer for some reason held some personal grudge (psychopath - I don't even know who is the identity thief, that person did crime, harassed, defamed me and held some personal grudge) and hired at least 20 other rogue R&AW paid goons. They have even made crime a game. The game of identity theft / identity distortion - UVAS (Uttam + sriniVAS).

WebSearch - New product coming soon - Free

This morning, I wrote a blog post about a possible new product in a blog post - Powerful website search. After doing a lot of brain-storming, almost an entire day on various aspects of the project, I am happy to announce, I would be developing this product very soon.

And here is the most happiest part of the announcement, there would be a free tier supported by ads for small to medium sized websites.

My very own company ALight Technology And Services Limited needs this product. My pdf's are not indexed, my blogger announcement's blog is not indexed in the main website. In other word's my own company has a need for this product.

Most if not all smaller websites have such a need. As a matter of fact, with the idea I came up with, even a website with a bunch of static webpages can have Search feature by embedding some code.

Moreover I would invite anyone to join a closed development, alpha and beta phases for free and for fun :).

I would happily share upcoming information and announcements here in this blog. I know I am the target of some espionage spies / identity thieves from my very own country and I realized I can use Auth0 for authentication and I am storing / indexing publicly available information. So the spy hackers might at most steal source code or pose as though they developed or launch a competing product by stealing. What if I offer the product for free - what would they gain by stealing / acting? - They would be wasting more of their pathetic life and would be obtaining ZERO.

Powerful website search

I want to know if there is enough interest among people for a small but novel idea of a powerful website search. There are several websites and some big corporations have multiple websites and lot of content inside documents such as pdf, word documents.

What if all of this content can be searched.

Scenario: If a company Mega Corporation has a corporate website and several regional websites with plenty of pdf's and word documments. What if visitors of the website can search across the Mega Corporation's websites and even for content inside documents and probably even search results telling on which page number the relevant content is? And what if all of this can be achieved with very few lines of code that needs to be embedded and for a very reasonable costs?

Who knows based upon the quality of the search results provided inside your own website maybe some future customer who might have turned away to a different website could stick with you and thereby increasing your sales and revenue.
