WebVeta’s Leap Forward: Overcoming CPU Hurdles with Microsoft's Support

 

As we approach the exciting milestone of our commercial launch within the next 3-4 weeks, we're thrilled to share some remarkable news that will propel WebVeta forward. After facing some challenges related to CPU limitations (A.I requires lot of processing, and without GPUs had to compromise on quality but), I am happy to announce that I have secured permission from Microsoft to utilize GPU instances – a very important decision for WebVeta SaaS (WebVeta does not have to compromise on quality).

WebVeta does some additional processing apart from hosted token-based LLM interactions. This additional processing safeguards the information, tries to improve accuracy etc… and need to be done on private servers. Although WebVeta indexes publicly available websites and blogs, I want to develop WebVeta in a secure manner i.e the data storage, processing happens securely and access controlled by firewalls etc…

This breakthrough wouldn't have been possible without the unwavering support of Microsoft, our valued partner in this journey. As part of Microsoft’s prestigious program for Startup Founders, Microsoft has consistently demonstrated their commitment to helping innovative companies.

WebVeta dropping off from Athena.vc, NATWEST Accelarator

 

In the past in 2 different blog posts:

- ALight Technology And Services Limited got accepted into NATWEST Accelerator

 

I have mentioned WebVeta has been accepted into Athena.vc and NATWEST Accelarator.

 

While this was a tremendous honor, I have come to realize that our path forward requires us to reevaluate my options. NATWEST requires physical presence in the UK for 6 months, my Graduate Route visa has expired in January 2024.

Although Athena.vc was great and just virtual meets, due to certain reasons I didn’t want to be part of Athena.vc.

WebVeta development update 03/08/2024

 Athena.vc has a concept known as building in public and making announcements in public every week for self-accountability. This blog post is part of the building in public updates.


What I did last week?

- Continued developing my SaaS product WebVeta, major update in 3 – 4 weeks.

- Read Athena’s startup 1 hour startup course.

- I have product so skimmed over Pick an important problem, studied what problems some of other companies are solving.

- Did some analysis of my own startup’s competition

- Sent requests for mentorship via Microsoft for Startup Founder’s. I might not record those conversations (Athena.vc suggests recording) due to privacy concerns of people who might respond, i.e I respect Microsoft for Startup Founders.

- Read some articles about other startups.

- Started using Toggl for keeping track of time from mid day 07/30 and realized I am putting in 70 - 85 hours per week on my startup.


KeyPoints:

- Starting a successful startup requires grit, determination, and a willingness to put in the time and effort needed to achieve success.

- Providing value through education and support can help customers get the most out of your product.

- Focus on building momentum

- Leverage existing solutions rather than building everything from scratch.

- Focus on speed and velocity in achieving product-market fit.

- Use content marketing and SEO as starting points to attract early adopters and build momentum.


What are plans for next week?

- Plans of introducing paid tiers in WebVeta, planning to integrate with Stripe.

- Lot of experimentation happened over the past 2 – 3 weeks and several code snippets. Now integrating these code snippets into code base!

- Planning to talk with few people, talked with 2 people from different backgrounds in the past. I might not record but I am planning to take notes and mention their names in social media (subject to their agreement).

WebVeta update 27/07/2024

 

Athena.vc has a concept known as building in public and making announcements in public every week for self-accountability.

 

What I did in the past 1 week?

-        Attended DeepTech Entrepreneurship sessions in IIT, Hyderabad (4 days). (DeepTech Entrepreneurship Programme at IIT Hyderabad and regarding WebVeta!)

)

-        Met several founders of startups in various stages i.e planning (1), developing, launched mvp, revenue generating (4).

 

Plans for next 1 – 2 weeks:

Due to the full-day conferences and traveling to Hyderabad, my SaaS product development was paused for 5 days.

I am in the middle of developing some nice features for a closed private preview. Planning to implement those in production in the next 1 – 2 weeks.

DeepTech Entrepreneurship Programme at IIT Hyderabad and regarding WebVeta!

 

The past few days I have been in Hyderabad and now I came back to Vizag!

I have attended in person sessions for 4 days at IIT Hyderabad for DeepTech Entrepreneurship. Great opportunity to learn and meet several people. The sessions covered some very useful topics and the sessions were informative. Few people who had their own startups met and talked about their products. I personally thank IIT faculty of Hyderabad: Sumita Thakur, Jayshree Patnaik, Nakul, Rajesh and several others.

It’s great opportunity for meeting other people who are in various stages of entrepreneurship.

IIT, Hyderabad has incumbators, I spoke with few people and mentioned, I have submitted an application and discussed regarding my startup’s SaaS product WebVeta.

Apart from the conference, I met some of my school friends (1996) and some of my other friends.

 

WebVeta development continues and as mentioned in earlier blog posts, few nicer features are planned and the current closed preview features are going to be generally available.

On a different note, NATWEST Accelerator U.K said the participants must be inside U.K for the entire duration,  I might NOT attend NATWEST Accelerator U.K

 

I thank and my humble gratitude for Microsoft for Startups, NASSCOM 10000, Athena.vc.

 

The same invisible spying equipment psychopests who were harassing me while I was pursuing MBA at Hult were messing up even in IIT. I think the invisible spying equipment Sly LINE group are hackers, shadows, stalkers and they frame others, they do identity distortion and identity theft. They are just some kind of dacoits. How can there be multiple people on same identity, same DOB, same permanent address? The other people are stalkers, violating privacy. They say “covers” / “athukulu” i.e they show other people’s purchases and probably mix-in of whatever shady sources of their money or just for framing people with heinous intentions of identity distortion and identity theft.

Anyway whatever “eye witness testimony” that has something to do with me or my identity or my spouse’s identity was either mis-represented or someone lied under oath and that’s the grand cover-up. The way they are trying to cover up by harassing, framing other people can be considered as extremism and should be considered as mafia i.e organized crime and cyber terrorism.
